Maybe I should’ve called this “In Your Face Pink: Phase 2.” Only for the simple fact that these fantastic heels are pink. I love the knots and the leather.
And to top it off, cork is a trend for the season which this shoe utilizes. Pop the cork off … “it’s showtime!”
Caged-in, a shoe trend of this season. And have you been put on, or have you put yourself on? Well, get on the money, Shoe Divas, and get a pair. Splurge or save?

Whatever your budget, you can still “stay in season.”
These would have to be the best birthday present I got last week, at my Friday “Girls Nite Out” dinner. And it is a must that I show you because they were under 100 bucks, are my favorite color, and exude two trends–snakeskin and suede. Thanks so much to my bestie for knowing what I like and exactly at a conflicting height–6 inches with 2 inch platform. I’m working on walking in them … “whewww.” (wipes sweat from brow). Have any tips? Fill me in.
“Didn’t you have a pair of “jellies” when you were a kid?”
Ughhh, unfortunately I did. They got all dirty and soiled while on the playground, developing a yellow tint from the dirt. “Ewwww.” Then a new pair had to be purchased. Luckily, they were cheaper then in the 80s.
Well, now Chinese Laundry has reintroduced “jellies” into the 21st century. You know I’m all about new and recurring trends; however, I have to disagree openly about the “jellies.” I just don’t see the point. You want something clear? Go with mesh. It’s looks a whole lot better, keeps your feet ventilated, and attaches to leather or any man made fabric. Just stitch it, and the appearance is classier.
Furthermore, have you ever sweated in “jellies?” Your feet are suddenly glued to the bottom of your shoes. hahahaha. That’s atrocious in its own right. Guess what? A smell may develop shortly thereafter.
Hey, don’t let my jokes and childhood memories have you deterred from purchasing a fresh pair of inexpensive “jellies” especially from a brand that I respect–Chinese Laundry. See for yourself how useless these shoes are.
What do you style these with, anyway?
Sunday was an all around day of God … after church came The Boondocks Saints II: All Saints Day then after that came PS3 game–God of War. And amid this holiness came a particular character FBI Special Agent Eunice Bloom in The Boondocks Saints II: All Saints Day movie wearing T-strap, “red bottoms”–Christian Louboutin. Have you seen it?
“In the beginning … there was a black, T-strap red bottom paired with seamed stockings worn by FBI “Special” Agent Bloom.

These basic, black slingbacks are essential for spring and summer. I like the stretchy black material and patent leather finish. These slingbacks keep the shoe sturdy on the heel, and there’s a peep hole that stays ahead the trend curve for this season. Four and half inches high with a half inch covered platform, this heel essential is $71.99 at Heels.
