Well did you catch this quote while Serena conversed with Tyra’s character–Ursula? What happened here? The show became guest appearance heavy with one guest appearance too many that made no sense–Hilary Duff. I love Hilary Duff, but where do we have room for the sweet, modest and innocent? Gossip Girl is slow to wrath, lukewarm. And I’m in need of some serious drama. Here’s the couch scene with Serena and Ursula. Furthermore, the red couch makes more of a statement. I’d like to have that couch at my place! Find that couch! STAT!

This leads to my favorite fashionista of the show–Serena. Seems like she interviewed with every fashion house in NY but failed to land something solid. She couldn’t trump the big Q of identity: “Who is Serena?” My poor S! Sure she’ll find herself soon! Love the career outfit!

This was the worst outfit of the bunch, starring Hilary Duff. However, I love the Heels!

Here are some Heels that could’ve taken Hilary Duff’s outfit to another level, perhaps on the fashion level of Serena. S stands for sultry!

Pour la Victoire Ynes Heel- I believe this literally means “for the victory.” Correct me if I’m wrong. Consequently, these heels trump the outfit! I also love that this heel is rose gold. It gives a 14k gleam. Don’t you think? Thumbs up!

Rose Collar Jacket-You can find this jacket on Topshop. This is an artsy jacket that would pair nicely with a red/black pointed heel. I like it a lot!

Double-Breasted Military Jacket- Found at Express. Purchased this one, and it fits like a charm! This is a steal!

Boyfriend Blazer- Found on blog. Found at Express! Can be worn for the casual/office look. This is the ultimate IT jacket for this season.

Heel Suggestion-Jessica Simpson Lizza Pump. This pump is universal, making any casual or office outfit look “spiffy.”

Trendy jackets come and go, so it’s best to find deals/steals in this economy. And remember, you can bring any jacket and pump combination together with accessories, like a handbag or jewelry, to complete the look!

She recently attended a friend’s wedding and spotted a ton of lovely shoes on the guests! The photos are all up on her blog – sexy shoes in the wild! Nothing better!

It doesn’t look like she has identified all of the shoes in her post, so I thought I would throw my two cents into the mix since I recognize some from our selection at Heels.com.

First of all, one of the guests is wearing a pair of heels The Shoe Girl identifies as Report Signature. I *think* the shoes in question are these, the Rockwell by Report Signature in black:

Do you think so?! Seeing these shoes “in the wild” has certainly upped my appreciation for them – the strap to the ankle gives the back of the shoe such an interesting shape!

Next, The Shoe Girl has two photos of lovely royal-blue-and-black slingback/mary jane heels. While I can’t identify either of these shoes, I would like to point out that they both remind me of one of our favorite shoes here, Fergie’s Mission Slingback in blue!

We at Heels.com just can’t say enough good things about Fergie’s new line of shoes. I have to be honest, I already have plans to remove the cost of a pair of Fergie pumps from my next paycheck. These Mission Slingback heels look great on Fergie, the same style looks great on the ladies in the photo above, and I bet they’d look amazing on you too!

Finally, The Shoe Girl finishes the post with a really sexy pair of L.A.M.B. sandals, the Ray Shoe in nude leather.

I have to say, L.A.M.B. is one of those lines that I drool over on the internet but I wonder if I’d have the style to pull off in real life. Every time I see someone rock a pair of them, though, I get more and more confident about my ability to wear them myself. These are simply lovely and looked great on the lady in question.

High Heel Wearing Divas, I urge you, if you’ve been putting yourself on all kinds of limitations this week, to stop depriving yourself and find your “guiltless comfort.” Now, it’s only comfort when you’re not feeling guilty about it. Am I right?

Whenever you get the chance, do these top 5 things today!

1. Eat your favorite comfort food. For me, that’s Chinese. I’ve gotta find P.F. Changs very soon.

2. Exchange the heels for wedges or flats. Like these Kelsi Dagger Tamantha w/snake print!

3. Twitter through your favorite episode or show!

4. Feel free to let your hair down or tie it up.  Whatever’s comfortable for you. I like it down and all over my head. And to tame it afterwards, I love to shop for my favorite hair products at Ulta, for there’s always a sale!

5. Stay up doing something you love. It could be anything: bar hopping, dining with friends/family, watching “oldies but goodies” (movies), reading a book/magazine, or journaling. Honestly, these are all my favorites. Remember it is the weekend, work and worries should be off your mind in a journal.

Ever need to get a piggy back ride down the street after a night of clubbing in your heels? Well many have and that was the pure inspiration for this new type of vending machine by Rollasole.

We all know about tortoise shell glasses frames, but what do we really know about tortoise shell shoes?! Well, after my recent visit, I decided to come back and search for a few very pretty and very totally turtley pairs of shoes.

This Fantasy Heel by J. Renee is the shell in perfection. A square open toe and a black detailing finish off the already sleek and lovely tortoise shell pattern.

The Dita Wedge by oh…Deer is another optimal choice in tortoise shell. I fell in love with the unique cut out design and the simple and sassy wedge.

The key is that Haute Look ships directly from the manufacturer, taking out that expensive middle man. (Where is that elusive “middle man” anyways? I have a few questions to ask him…prick.)

First, we can stop trying to squeeze our size 8 foot into a size 6 shoe! Next time you go into a shoe store get your foot measured because as we get older the width and general size of our feet can change, so having the right size is the first step for comfort. The next thing that we can do is add a comfortable pair of heel cushions to make wearing heels for long periods of time a much more pleasant experience. You can find heel cushions at your local drugstore and my personal favorite brand is Foot Petals.

Last, but definitely not least, after we have the right size and the right dressings for our sexy stilettos we have to learn to walk properly in them so we can avoid injury because pain doesn’t always triumph over beauty!
