Celebs Rockin’ the Docs… Dr. Martens that is!

IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE? Yes, honey, there better be because I am literally dying to see some cute celebrity looks in Dr. Martens shoes. Before we dive in, let’s first make sure we are all familiar with the Dr. Marten brand. You will probably recognize these boots from Miley Cyrus’ infamous ‘Wrecking Ball’ music video:

Miley just being Miley in her bad ass’Wrecking Ball’ combat boots : Dr. Martens | 1490 in Cherry Red Smooth, $129.99

If you weren’t utterly distracted by Miley’s scandalously naked bod and hammer-licking, you might have noticed that in several scenes she is rocking Dr. Marten 1490 boots in Cherry Red Smooth. In fact, in several scenes she is ONLY wearing the boots. Not a bad look I might add–but probably not for everyone.

We talked about Dr. Martens when we recently launched the brand on Heels.com. Today we are talking about Doc Martens boots – aka “Docs” – and the many cool celebrity chicks who rock them.

Take a deep breath because this list is pretty extensive! Famous fans of these classic leather boots include: Jessica Alba, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Kate Bosworth, Emma Watson, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Ashley Simpson, Pixie Geldof, Amber Rose, Chloë Sevigny, Drew Barrymore, & Emma Roberts… Whew!

Lesser known family members of celebs wear the boots too, like Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris, and Vanessa Hudgen’s sis, Stella. Check out the gallery below:

So that list pretty much includes all of the celebrities who are my best friends (in my imagination) and whose closets I need to raid ASAP. This is why it is practically essential to own a pair of Dr. Martens. They are ICONIC. Plus, they actually work year round. Don’t you love how these stylish celebrities wear Doc Marten boots from winter to summer? This season-less wardrobe staple works fabulously for hot festival looks, bundled-up winter outfits, everyday ensembles, and beyond!
