It’s no secret that I love designer brands, however my career as a government employee does not always afford me the luxury of designer style. As far back as elementary school, I was all about a designer brand name. I remember in 5th grade it was all GUESS, all the time for this little stylista (and in the 5th grade GUESS is a high end designer!). If my mom even suggested that I wear Lee or Jordache (80’s baby!) brand jeans, I would throw a minor hissy fit. It took me a long time to realize that I didn’t have to have the most expensive designer brands to look stylish. Perhaps the fact that I had to start working for my own money and quit spending mommy and daddy’s money? Sometimes it is the thrill of knowing you found something that looks designer at a low price that makes shopping worthwhile.
