Heel Wearing Divas–
It’s Wed-NESS-Day! (Wednesday)
It’s very important to accent those legs with striking shoes that compliment your feet as well. There are certain features on a shoe that can make your legs appear longer, stronger, or even thinner!
Making Your Legs Appear Longer– I always pick a heel with a very high heel, of course; this adds extra inches to your height. Pair it with a short number (shorts, skirt, dress, whatever!). The idea here is to create the illusion that there’s more to view between your mid-thigh/knees to your ankles.
Making Your Legs Appear Stronger-Rounded-toe heels/flats are it! They take the attention off of your front toes and balance the weight right in the middle. Your calves will appear stronger especially if they are toned. Mary Janes with ankle straps are an example of a rounded-toe shoe. This is very flattering on curvy figures.
Sidenote: It seems to me that those who walk in flats or flip-flops develop stronger calves over time. Not sure why. This has been my observation while wandering up and down hills of App State. I digress.
Making Your Legs Appear Thinner-Pointed heels and stillettos! More linear paths are created that will make your legs appear thinner!
