Awards season is now underway, starting last night with the People’s Choice Awards. While I didn’t get a chance to actually watch the awards show (heck, I didn’t even know they were on!), I certainly didn’t miss a chance to check out the red {blue?} carpet. Platforms were the people’s pump choice for the night, with celebs from Katy Perry to Kim Kardashian rocking sky high platforms. Not that they needed to show off their gams anymore than they already were in their  less than there cocktail dresses. While Katy Perry and the Twilight crew took the cake in the music and movie genres, there were other standout stars on the carpet:
