Basic wardrobe pieces make dressing effortless. Whether it is a little black or little white dress, khaki shorts, or your favorite jeans and a tee, sometimes your outfit needs a little extra kick. Luckily, this doesn’t take a lot of effort and can be accomplished with the perfect pair of shoes. While most stylists are opting for bright jewel tones this season, don’t count out the impact of a great pattern. Often, you can get more mileage from a pattern, since the design may be funky, yet the colors are practical. One of my favorites is the Sam Edelman “Kelis Heel.” The colors match with everything, yet the pattern is anything but ordinary.
