After several seasons of bright and bold colors, the black and white trend seen on the runways of Marc Jacobs, Jil Sander, Celine and even Oscar de la Renta is a refreshing change of pace. Don’t worry because basic black and white is anything but boring this season! Try this fashion-forward trend paired with feminine floral pieces or bright colors for a sizzling spring style. From graphic prints to bold colorblocking, black and white footwear is a must have for spring 2013.

How do you see things? Do you see them in color? Or in black and white? With the introduction of Spring not long ago and Summer not far behind, color, color and more color seems to be all around us. Beautiful flowers, yellowy sunshine and streaks of rainbow everywhere! However, I can’t help but think that I still really enjoy a simple black and white shoe. While one is the absence of all color and the other is every color combined, the two make a magical and eye catching duo.

What I love so much about black and white shoes is that you can wear just about any color clothing with them. Slip into that sexy red dress or those bright yellow pants. It’s so easy to bring your black and white footwear into the warmer seasons!
Here are a few of my favorite black and white picks from Heels.com.
Channeling your inner 1940s diva, these BCBGirls Magnif Heels are all height and mean business! Stomp out on the dance floor with sexy platform, t-strap and a whopping 5 inch stiletto.
Summery cool is what these Mariana Betsey Johnson Wedges are all about. Paired up with the perfect sun dress, you will look cute as a button with a black and white polka dot bow to finish things off!
Fierce have got to be these L.A.M.B Gem Heels middle name. There is absolutely no other word to describe them. The black and white perforated trim, on the already stunning design, is sure to look maddening near a slimming pair of denim jeans.
