While January may seem a little early to be talking Spring fashions, the real spring style forecast has been months in the making. The fashion world is always working a season ahead (how exactly did you think those trends in fashion mags got published?) so while the leaves were just starting to change, sunny spring trends were making their way on the runway. One of the big trends that comes out of Fashion Week each season is Pantone’s color report, detailing the hottest hues for the upcoming season.

This Spring, Honeysuckle, a bold pink, came out above all the rest with Badgley Mischka, Peter Som, and Nanette Lepore featuring this cheery tone guaranteed to pull you out of your winter fashion rut.

Floral prints aren’t just for spring. From roses and daisies to poppies, floral prints are in full bloom for fall. Top your floral with some tweed or leather and add some edge to your feminine ensemble or try a striped tee with a floral skirt for an unexpected contrast. For a really daring look, mix and match your floral prints and channel your creativity. Whatever you do, make sure you fall for a flirty floral this season.
