Not bad. Debutante Jenny Humphrey made her entrance to society at the Cotillion with Nate Archibald, the college catch. That is … after Blair and Erik sabotaged her debut with Graham! And it worked out just fine.
Furthermore, will Serena sleep with married congressman–Tripp? I’m liking the drama!!
Speaking of debuts, Leighton Meester is still strategically popping up between intermissions and post-episodes to promote her album. Listen to “Somebody to Love” featuring Robin Thicke. Alright, first I was skeptic of the actor turned pop singer; however, now, I’m thinking of giving her a chance. What do you think?
But the real musical genius of the night seemed to be Anya Marina, for she remixed T.I.’s “You Can Have Whatever You Like.” I liked it! Right click on their names to hear the corresponding versions. This is that -ish!
And Pix 11 News of New York are making a big deal out of the NYU depiction on Gossip Girl. Go figure …they’re calling it the 3-some episode.
Above all, here’s the fashion “Yes, Yes” of the night for Gossip Girl paired with heels!
Humphrey’s is your day at Heels!

Heels to match …
Badgley Mischka Clay Heel

Yep, I tuned into Gossip Girl last night; it’s been a almost a month since I’ve been purposely missing this show for something better like Wii Fit, missed episodes of CSI Miami, or a night out.
It wasn’t so bad as the earlier episodes proved to be. Tripp made congressman due to his grandfather planting the right man in the right waters in front of the wrong camera.
Blair and Serena fell out and made up again. This is getting old. And has Leighton Meester gone Pop? Sighs**
Worth noting, I was impressed by the fab dress that adorned Serena! Here’s what she wore last night. And here are some shiny shoes to match.

A more scripted and powerful statement could have been depicted had Serena wore these shiny blue shoes just before dumping her sad PR project, Patrick! Don’t you think? A lil fashion foreshadowing, yes?!
Should’ve wore some blue shoes on Friday night, but I digress … that mistake has been corrected!
Chinese Laundry Navy/Silver Sequin Heels – “Be gone in a flash, Patrick!”

“It’s probably the best work I’ve ever done …”
-Tyra Banks
Well did you catch this quote while Serena conversed with Tyra’s character–Ursula? What happened here? The show became guest appearance heavy with one guest appearance too many that made no sense–Hilary Duff. I love Hilary Duff, but where do we have room for the sweet, modest and innocent? Gossip Girl is slow to wrath, lukewarm. And I’m in need of some serious drama. Here’s the couch scene with Serena and Ursula. Furthermore, the red couch makes more of a statement. I’d like to have that couch at my place! Find that couch! STAT!

This leads to my favorite fashionista of the show–Serena. Seems like she interviewed with every fashion house in NY but failed to land something solid. She couldn’t trump the big Q of identity: “Who is Serena?” My poor S! Sure she’ll find herself soon! Love the career outfit!

This was the worst outfit of the bunch, starring Hilary Duff. However, I love the Heels!

Here are some Heels that could’ve taken Hilary Duff’s outfit to another level, perhaps on the fashion level of Serena. S stands for sultry!
Pour la Victoire Ynes Heel- I believe this literally means “for the victory.” Correct me if I’m wrong. Consequently, these heels trump the outfit! I also love that this heel is rose gold. It gives a 14k gleam. Don’t you think? Thumbs up!
