I’m just going to pick my favorite outfits and match shoes with them, since yet again I disagreed a bit with the judges. Not as badly as last week, but there were some odd choices being made in my opinion. I do completely agree with who went home – Qrystal showed week after week that she didn’t have the skill or the taste to be on the show, and after spending three of four weeks in the bottom, she finally went home.

Also, what was up with the judges themselves? Where’s Michael Kors? I like one guest judge per week. I don’t like an entirely different lineup of judges every week. There needs to be some kind of continuity in judging in order for this to be a fair competition, but the only face I’ve seen in every episode so far is Heidi’s lovely visage. Oh well. I might complain, but you’d better be sure I’m still watching.

Carol Hannah’s design, which was my favorite:

Fashionable and wearable. I want this dress in my closet right now. Carol Hannah says her design is a blend of hard and soft, which made me think of these sexy Dereon heels:

The Checks In The Mail by Dereon in Black. A really sexy party heel, black with lovely details on the front. I feel like the edgy yet sleek nature of these heels really compliments Carol Hannah’s design.

Next, Altheas’s winning design (and the model seriously worked this one on the runway, I agree with the judges!):

I was looking at gray shoes, but I decided I wanted something a little more interesting… what about purple? I love these Bukala heels from Guess:

Very sexy color with a nice buckle detail on the back. Guess is such a reliable brand of shoes – sexy, wearable, and stylish. Can’t go wrong with Guess! And isn’t her name cool?! Althea? I want to write it over and over again.

Project Runway is the only show I’m watching right now, but soon my favorite fall dramas will start up and I can’t wait to start working them into my blogs!

It is true: the Sun is closest to Earth in the Winter.  However, it is because of the Earth’s natural tilt that we experience this cold season! So no matter how the recession affected your Summer, there’s still more sunshine to uncover this Fall, in shopping for heels!

Happy Tuesday, World! Did every woman get up this morning with the same outfit on? I don’t mean as in what you wore yesterday, but outfitted in the same personality, the same conservative outfit and searching to say “yes” to like-mindedness. For the latter, did we forget the Bay of Pigs (with bad wigs)? Groupthink!

If you did, there’s still time to save yourself from “sameness.” There is still time to say: “I will try something different today.” Whether it be giving your intern’s ideas a breakthrough in the office, having an extra cup of coffee, and or even sneaking a few extra carbs. Who cares! At least for today, be a brave working woman!

And do you know how to signal others that today that you are wanting to LIVE BEYOND your known character at work? Switch shoes. Yes, shoes tell it all. They often tell how daring you are, in the moment.

You should really keep at least 2 pair of shoes at work anyway, so that you might fit any circumstances that might occur throughout the day. Here’s what I’ve outfitted for you this morning, so that you may achieve the “Look at me, I’m bold and courageous” or the “Try me; I just might like it” attitude. My recommendations are below.
