First let’s talk Complimentary Color’sComplementary colors are any two colors which are directly opposite each other, such as red and green and red-purple and yellow-green. Now let’s discuss Split-Complementary – The split-complementary color scheme is a variation of the complementary color scheme. In addition to the base color, it uses the two colors adjacent to its complement. This color scheme has the same strong visual contrast as the complementary color scheme, but has less tension. The split-complimentary color scheme is often a good choice for beginners, because it is difficult to mess up.

So lets break it down now,  color by color and show you which pairings look best!

That’s where we come in, from the perfect shoes to the perfect dress we are here to help you create a foolproof outfit that will be sure to turn some heads. The best style advice we have is to keep things simple, you can create a ‘knockout’ look in minutes with just a few key pieces.new-pic (1)

TIP #1 Choose a neutral palette for your look, this can consist of black, beige, cream, gray or navy. Some may say that neutrals can be boring but it’s a nice alternative to the usual red dress seen on this particular holiday. Neutrals also make mixing and matching much easier, so go crazy! For our look we choose a classic little black dress. The mock neck & long sleeves give the dress a unique look that’s both sexy and sophisticated.

TIP #2 Now for the heels; this is where we wanted to add some fun texture and interest to the outfit. For your heels you want to select a pair that has fun embellishments like studs, fringe or jewels in a neutral hue. This will give your ensemble a unique edge and allow your personality to shine through. The heel should be sexy but not wild, stick to soft fabrics like suede and supple leather. Also a laced up ankle strap works great for this outfit and is the perfect balance between sexy and chic.

TIP #3 Last but not least, always have confidence. This is the key to the entire outfit, you have to feel great in your look so no matter what make sure you choose an outfit that makes you feel great!
