Like many of the Heels.com bloggers, I’ve always been a big fan of Alice in Wonderland.  A tale that is really more for adults that children, it’s whimsical, dark, adventurous, and more.  It inspires me so much, that a group of friends & I dressed the parts for Halloween one year!

Being quite the Alice fan herself, I could see our girl romping through wonderland in these beautiful black & white heels by L.A.M.B.  Equal part school girl and harajuku girl, they’re perfect for the modern Alice skipping through her favorite wonderland.

For a girl who spends her time chasing rabbits, falling down rabbit holes, outgrowing houses, and playing chess and croquette, a secure pair of shoes will do her more than good. These Manica heels by Jessica Simpson are a modern day mary jane with a square toe and thick buckled strap. Because Alice has more on her mind than what to do when she loses a shoe.

All that running can wreck havoc on a girl’s feet, and perhaps a stiletto isn’t the best bet for our dear dreamer. Luckily, BCBG Girls Mosh has an excellent wedge that makes those escapades a bit easier on the toes…

Though arguably, with the time period Alice was written in, I think my favorite choice may be the Betsey Johnson Nyla heel. With an oversized button and a scalloped front, I may have to get these for my next Alice costume…

OK so I may not be Maria from West Side Story, but I have favorite things, as well. While they aren’t any of the above, my favoritest thing in the entire world is shoes. Therefore, I decided it was time to introduce you all to a few of my FAVORITE SHOES. And perhaps make you fall in love with them too! These are shoes that sit permanently on my lust wish list until I am ready to splurge!

Biker girly? Who ever heard of such a silly thing, but next on my favorite list is exactly that! These Steven by Steve Madden Demy Heels are wild and girly all rolled into one gorgeous leather peep toe.

Spring flowers should make everyone’s favorite list! Especially when they look this good as Jessica Simpson Lizza Heels. The floral denim pattern makes for a brighter day, coming anyone’s way!

How do you see things? Do you see them in color? Or in black and white? With the introduction of Spring not long ago and Summer not far behind, color, color and more color seems to be all around us. Beautiful flowers, yellowy sunshine and streaks of rainbow everywhere! However, I can’t help but think that I still really enjoy a simple black and white shoe. While one is the absence of all color and the other is every color combined, the two make a magical and eye catching duo.

What I love so much about black and white shoes is that you can wear just about any color clothing with them. Slip into that sexy red dress or those bright yellow pants. It’s so easy to bring your black and white footwear into the warmer seasons!
