From Beyonce’s baby bump to GaGa’s guy impression, last night’s MTV Video Music Awards was a night to remember. The range of fashion choices from this years black (red) carpet were also rather memorable. Unlike most awards show, the MTV VMA’s seem to bring out the most outlandish of fashion choices that leave a lasting impression, from cheese hats (Katy Perry) to whatever the heck Nicki Manaj was sporting. Now if we could only remember actually seeing a music video on MTV lately. Be sure to win more than just a moon man when you grab a pair of these memorable heels from heels.com inspired by this years VMA celebrities:

While I didn’t get a chance to watch ALL of the MTV Movie Awards last night, I did catch the Sandra Bullock makeout sesh and even more importantly, the FASHION! Compared to years past, the fashions seemed a little on the light side in terms of the usual craziness. Even the heels were a bit, might I say, boring? Lots of closed tow platform pumps and peep toes donned the red carpet, spiced with a few strappy stilettos. Check out these styles that sparked my interest:
Mean Girl Amanda Seyfried looked less than mean in a black Stella McCartney dress and Jimmy Choo heels:
L.A.M.B. Dakota Heel
Cameron Diaz was looking fierce in a printed DVF dress and Jimmy Choo peep toe booties:
Jessica Simpson Cesare Heel
Sandra Bullock donned a gorgeous Oday Shakar frock with a classic nude Louboutin platform:
Steve Madden Caryssa Platform
My favorite look of the night was Eva Mendes (and seriously, when did she get SO SKINNY?!?) in this one-shoulder Stella McCartney styled by the one and only Rachel Zoe!
Chinese Laundry Fire It Up Heel
And…drumroll please…the WTF award of the night goes to the one and only (and thank the sweet Lord there is only ONE) Lindsay Lohan:
There aren’t even WORDS for this one, ouch!
Back in 2003 when I was still in college (you know studying hard and all) my roommates and I (and like half our sorority sisters) would gather ‘round the TV to watch a little show called Laguna Beach. And what under 25 young girl wasn’t? Then on my honeymoon in 2006, while relaxing in a hotel in California, I flipped to a little show called ‘The Hills’ which justsohappenedto star Cali girl Lauren Conrad from Laguna Beach.
That’s when my Hills obsession started, and sadly 4 years later, and probably much too old to be watching, here I am still indulging in that silly little reality show. And what do you know the new and last season of “The Hills’ starts tonight, although things haven’t really been the same in good ‘ole Hollywood since Lauren left the picture. One of my favorite things about “The Hills’ (and probably why I continued my little obsession) were the fabulous fashions. So what are ‘The Hills’ stars wearing while clicking their heels around Hollywood?
Lauren Conrad is a bohemian beach babe who exudes California style. When not at an event, she tends to wear flowy dresses and flats. Try these rosy Chinese Laundry Sudoku sandals and put your best LC foot forward.
Oh how Heidi Montag has changed over the past six seasons, in more ways than one! Her playboy-esque style typically features tight mini dresses and sky high heels. Get your Heidi-wood on in these white hot Bebe Battista Sandals.
With her edgy appeal and rocker girl image, Audrina Patridge is definitely no plain jane. Even Jessica Simpson would approve of this sky high Tansas heel for Audrina to rock out in.
New kid on the block Kristin Cavallari is anything but nice, which is why these Naughty Monkey Play Date heels would be perfect for that bad girl in you.
Are you anxiously awaiting the season premiere of The Hills? What keeps you coming back?
