Every girl had a few pairs of Jelly Sandals growing up. They were multi-colored, pinks, yellows, reds . . . fun to wear, comfortable and a fashion must in the 80's.

Here is a bit of history:
Jelly shoes are shoes made of PVC rubber. Jelly shoes come in a variety of brands and colours. The "Jelly" in its name refers to the semi-transparent materials, with a jelly-like sheen. Jelly Shoes were designed after World War II when there was a leather shortage in Europe.
There back . . . and better than ever!

The 60s featured a number of diverse fashion trends. It was a decade that broke tradition. Early in the decade, we saw culottes and the bikini in 1963, which was first featured in the movie Beach Party.

Mary Quant invented the mini-skirt/mini-dress, so popular in the late 1960s.
