Fashion royalty seems to have hit the runway in Paris this past week. Rapper Kanye West has debuted his very own shoe line, after admitting that he himself has about 450 pairs of shoes (I am but a novice compared to that). West has partnered up with Louis Vuitton and designed a line of sneakers that is sure to cost a little more than your Nike shox or your Puma cells.

The line features sneakers in colors like red, black, pink, and tan, but as the certain red sneakers marched down the runway, West decided that it was time for not only a career change, but also a name change. On his own personal blog he states that he’d like to be referred to as Martin Louis the King, Jr. from here on out. I am making a similar face of confusion as you right now.

Everyone remembers those hot summer days and the pitchers of Kool-Aid. Remember this guy?

Well, he’s back. Reebok has just announced their new line of shoes with a unique twist. They will have the sweet and fruity scents of Kool-Aid built into the footwear. Uh, OK. Not sure I ever thought of Kool-Aid and Sneakers together. The first flavors to launch are grape, strawberry, and cherry. Three more flavors due later in the spring of 2008. The shoes will feature the Kool-Aid man on the bottom and the Reebok logo on the side.

I’m just not sure about this combo, creepy or really cool.
