Does anyone else watch Project Runway? Because I do! I love being inspired by the fashion I see on the show, from Heidi Klum’s outfits to the designers’ creations, even down to what the designers themselves like to wear! This show is always chock-full of entertainment from start to finish.
What better way to shop for shoes on Heels.com than to be inspired by Project Runway designs?
I don’t always agree with the judges, but I have to say – this week was a no brainer. The challenge was to create a form-fitting outfit to show off the very pregnant Rebecca Romijn’s sexy figure, and designer Shirin’s lovely red creation – an elegant dress AND a fashion-forward lined jacket – had viewers and judges alike saying “I’d wear that even if I wasn’t pregnant!” Hey Shirin, where can I get that jacket?!
Of course, no outfit is complete without the right pair of heels, and here are my picks:
Sharp Red Shoes by Vince Camuto – If I wanted to put red heels with this dress, I’d want to go with a deep rich shade, and these Vince Camuto’s are just the thing. As a bonus, they’re on sale!
Blitz Pump by Fergie in magenta/plum – No question about it, I’m kind of in love with these heels by Fergie. The color is so attractive, and they’re strappily color-blocked, which would really make them interesting when paired with the (solid colored) dress. Of course, if the color wasn’t quite right, you couldn’t go wrong with the same lovely heels in black: Blitz Pump by Fergie in black.
