Do you know Topolino (translation: Mickey Mouse, italian)? He is a self-taught, conceptual, make up artist who hailed from the late 80s. He has produced influential, visionary work for Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacy. He’s inspired by everything, from trash to insects. In the images below, you’ll know what I mean.
One of my favorite photos … it radiates color. The hair is magnificently slicked and poofed. I love Florian’s matte finished face in pale, and the highlighted yellow aura that surrounds the outlines of his frame.
Furthermore, I still love glitter; it isn’t a thing of the past for me. And sometimes I like to create a crescent moon around my right eye for a night on the town.
