Shown for Fall’08 is this whimsical organic look.  I just love how the swirling pattern is continued from the dress into the tights.  Again, tights are going to be fun this season.  You can pair a complex patterned with a solid color shoe so the effect isn’t too overwhelming.  If your pattern has earthtones, then this Max Studio “Elena shoe” in olive could be a fine choice.  Also worth noting is how the designer takes a muted earthtone and sprinkles a bit of neon here and there for an unexpected eye pleasing result.  Go muted tone on the shoe (not neon) and save the color punch for smaller details in your ensemble.
